This Week in Color - PINK!

I recently found myself looking up no-sew tutu tutorials all over the web. My inner girly-girl screamed, "Ive got to make one for my little princess!"
Look at her...I think she thought the whole thing was a bit ridiculous. Which of course it is. I mean, a 6 week old baby in a tutu? Before I had a baby girl, I would have said, "C'mon, is that really necessary?"
Yup, it really is.

Redwork

Rock Sea and Sarah offers this step-by-step tutorial for "Sleepytime Girl" in redwork. What I love is she includes links to how to do each step, too. This is helpful, since, SOMEDAY, I will try my hand at at this sweet embroidery! The site also offers a great little history lesson about redwork.

Frenchy of the blog, Le Chateau Des Fleurs offers a simple tutorial for dressing up a bag and shoes with a few simple materials. Love her photo-heavy tutorial, and her classy red lips she sports in her header! Now, if only I had a gala to attend!
